Shawano Teachers Recognized

SHAWANO, WI- At their recent end of year celebration and recognition of staff, the Shawano School District announced
the 2024 Educators of the Year. This award is to recognize exemplary educators who consistently
demonstrate outstanding performance. Educators are more than just classroom teachers – they are
anyone who plays a role in the education of our students. Students in our district are impacted daily by
maintenance, para-professionals, administrative assistants, teachers, administrators, and other school
personnel. Congratulations to our award recipients: Craig Pynenberg – Hillcrest/LEADS, Mellissa Reed
– Olga Brener, Mike Homan – Shawano Community Middle School, Wendy Esch – Shawano
Community High School, and Jeremy Hodkiewicz – Shawano Community High School.
