Janice A. Willman, age 67 of the Township of Pella, passed away on Friday evening May 24, 2024 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Appleton with her family by her side.
Janice Ann Willman was born October 28, 1956 in Livermore, CA, daughter to the late Donald & Karen (Winebrenner) Burghduff. She was united in marriage to Kevin Willman Sr. on December 8, 1978 in Milwaukee and they started a family. Janice worked for Great Lakes Veneer, formerly Marion Plywood for many years. In her younger years, Janice was a leader with the Caroline Ace’s 4-H Club, helping the kids with projects and serving in the food stand at the Shawano Fair as well as working bake sales at the Caroline Colorama. She loved knitting and crocheting, as well as vegetable gardening. Janice canned much of the bounty from her garden and would give it away to church members and her neighbors. Her lawn decorations were extravagant and she would change them during the year based on the upcoming holiday season. Having a soft-spot for animals, Janice would take in or adopt pets and animals that needed a home and/or nurse them back to health and set them free. Her husband, Kevin Sr., preceded her in death on September 24, 1992 as a result of a car accident. As an active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Pella, she was on the funeral committee in years past and enjoyed helping with Bible studies as well. For entertainment, Janice rarely missed her mystery shows on T.V. and was always listening to 50’s and 60’s music. She will be remembered for the love she had for her grandchildren, as well as her willingness to help anyone in need.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kevin Willman Sr.; & her son Larry Burghduff.
A memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday June 15, 2024 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Town of Pella, with the Rev. Timothy Lofgren officiating. Inurnment will take place following the service at the parish cemetery.
Visitation will take place on that Saturday at the church from 9 AM until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Janice’s name are preferred to be directed to your local Humane Society, The Greener Pasture Farm Sanctuary, Tigerton, or a cancer research organization of your choice.
