SHAWANO,WI- This is the final week for in person absentee voting for next week’s election.
Shawano City Hall is open through Thursday.
“Technically we are closed on Friday,” said City Clerk Lesley Nemetz. She added that if people need to vote on Friday, they can call to make an appointment.
Nemetz says this year’s election falls over Shawano Spring Break.
“If you and your family are going to be gone on Spring Break next week or if you just want to take care of voting early, consider stopping in at City Hall this week to vote your Absentee Ballot for next Tuesday’s Election,” Nemetz said.
The process is very easy for those who are already registered.
The ballot contains not only the Presidential Preference Vote, but the Shawano School District Referendum, City of Shawano Mayor, City of Shawano Aldermanic races for District 2, 4, & 6, Municipal Court Judge, School Board Members, County Board Members, and several other races depending upon where you are located.
We are open this week Monday-Thursday from 7:00 AM until 4:30 PM.
