WAUPACA, WI- The Waupaca County Humane Society is asking people to help keep their dogs safe.
An upper respiratory illness is working its way across the US and it has resulted in severe infections for dogs. It also has resulted in pneumonia and death in some cases.
The Humane Society is asking for help keeping the dogs safe by not bringing other dogs into the building without an appointment. It is also important that dogs who have been in another shelter in the last 48 hours stay out of the building.
