
Andrea M. “Bouge” James, age 36 of Keshena, began her journey to the Spirit World on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, in Middle Village. Andrea was born on October 1,1987, in Shawano, the daughter of Robert James Sr. and the late Stephanie Peters. She attended the Menominee Indian High School where she graduated in 2006. Prior to her high school graduation, she completed The Challenge Academy at Fort McCoy, WI. After high school she earned her CNA and home health care certifications from the College of Menominee Nation. She had been employed at several health care facilities in Appleton. Andrea was a stay-at-home mother caring for her children. She had a wicked deadly sense of humor, always making others smile and laugh.
Survivors include her four children, JoCelle Peters, Jessanie Peters, Julian Peters, and Stephanie Peters; father, Robert (Deanna) James, Sr. of Keshena; significant other and father of her children, Jordan Peters of Keshena; siblings, Nicole Escalante, Alyssa James, Robert James, Jr, Christina (Shane) Petrakis, Lenayea Boyd, Everette (Lois) Waupoose, David Nahwahquaw, Shae
Perez, Gene Perez, and Seth Perez; grandparents, Robert S. James, Arvilla LeRoy, and Myrna Warrington; great-grandmother, Elaine Peters. She is further survived by many aunts, uncles, and
cousins. Her children meant the world to her, and she will be deeply missed by all.
Andrea was preceded in death by her mother, Stephanie Peters; her brother, Scott Perez; grandfather, Marshall Warrington; uncle, Todd James; aunt, Faye James; grandfather, Greg “Mike” Lepscier; and special cousin, Daniel Peters, Jr.
A graveside service for “Angg” will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at the Menominee Nation Cemetery in Middle Village. Visitation will be at the Dave Barrett Hall at St.
Michaels Catholic Church in Keshena after 5:00 pm on Monday, October 16, 2023, until the procession leaves for the cemetery. A parish wake service for Andrea will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 7:00 pm.
