WITTENBERG, WI-Nueske’s in Wittenberg, is marking a remarkable milestone this Saturday as they celebrate the 90th year in business. What started as a small venture during the Great Depression has grown into an iconic establishment, deeply rooted in family tradition and community values.
In 1933, R.C. Nueske embarked on a journey that would establish the foundation of Nueske’s, a business now led by CEO Tanya Nueske.
The 90th-anniversary celebration kicks off on Saturday at 7:30 a.m. with a farm-fresh pancake breakfast right at the store, setting the stage for a day filled with festivities.
The celebration features a diverse array of activities, including a vintage car display, wood carving demonstrations, fireworks, and more. Attendees will have 3,500 chances to win exciting prizes. As a gesture of goodwill, Feeding America will be collecting perishable food items and cash donations to support the local Wittenberg community.
The highlight of the event, according to Nicole, is a ping pong helicopter ball drop at 1:30 p.m.
Located at 1390 E. Grand Ave., Wittenberg, WI 54499, the Nueske’s company store serves as the hub for this grand celebration.
