TOWN OF HARTLAND, WI- the Shawano County Sheriff’s Office responded to a multi- vehicle accident on HWY 29 east of High Line Road, Town of Hartland on Sunday. Crews were called out just before 2:00am and upon arrival, found a 28 year old male from the Bonduel area was found deceased while a 51 year old male from the Krakow area sustained non-life
threatening injuries.
Further investigation showed a motorcycle was traveling westbound in the eastbound lane of highway 29 when it collided head on with a passenger car. The driver of the motorcycle was believed to have been wearing his helmet and the driver of the passenger car was wearing its seat belt at the time of the crash.
Both lanes of Highway 29 were closed during this time. The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Bonduel Fire Department, WI State Patrol, Shawano Ambulance and the Shawano County Coroner’s Office.
The crash is still under investigation and no additional details will be released at this time.
