SCHOFIELD, WI- The Wittenberg 16U Legion baseball team came away as Champions of the DC Everest Regional over the weekend. Wittenberg defeated DC Everest 3-1 and New Richmond 11-8 in the first two days of the tournament to get the automatic spot in the championship game. Wittenberg topped DC Everest in the Championship game 4-1 to win the tournament. Next is the State Tournament, which kicks off Friday in Waupun. Wittenberg will play in the opening game of the tournament.

SEYMOUR, WI- Seymour and Kimberly are the last two teams standing in the Seymour 16U Regional. The two teams will play one and possibly two championship games Monday night. Seymour enters the night without a loss. Kimberly would need to beat Seymour to force a true Championship game. The winner will advance to the State Tournament on Friday in Waupun.
