Fae M. Severson, age 78 of Clintonville passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Aster Assisted Living, Clintonville.
Fae Marie Rew was born on July 17, 1944, at New London Hospital to Erwin and Alvina (Marshek) Rew. She graduated from Clintonville High School in 1962. Fae was united in marriage on October 30, 1965, to Roy R. Severson at St. Rose Catholic Church, Clintonville. The couple lived briefly in West Bend, Kewaskum, and Marion for a while before returning to Clintonville in 1969. Fae owned and operated a cleaning service for local folks all around the area for around 20 years. But her proudest task was always taking care of her family. Her husband Roy preceded her in death on July 17, 2017.
Fae was a longtime member of St. Rose Catholic Church where she was a PCCW member and sang in the choir for many years. She also attended Clintonville TOPS meetings for a number of years and she studied healthy nutritional habits.
Fae loved collecting all sorts of Cardinals. She liked sewing, baking bread and donuts, playing cards, and sending out Christmas cards every year. Fae also enjoyed going fishing, bowling, and playing pool.
Survivors include three children; Ann (Tim) Zilch of Clintonville, Barbara (James) Foster of Columbus, GA., and Danielle (friend Richie) Severson of Manawa. There are 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. There are two siblings, Rose (William) McGlin and Richard (Marcia) Rew. She is further survived by many other relatives and friends.
Fae was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son Christopher; and five brothers, David, James, Jerry, Donald, and Robert.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 15th at 11:00 AM at Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville. Fr. Simon Minyati will officiate and inurnment will be in the parish cemetery.
