NORTHEAST, WI- A handful of games were part of the 4th of July weekend schedule, including games that were part of the community celebrations.
NORTHERN DIVISION
Friday July 1
Birnamwood 5, Wittenberg 3
Mason Meverden earned his first win of the season, and helped his own cause with a 3 for 5 day at the plate. Birnamwood only needed six hits to win. Nate Waupekenay took the loss. Wittenberg had two hits from both Noah Cole and Zach Urquhart.
Sunday July 3
Aniwa 11, Antigo 7
Elderon 6, Hatley 4
EAST / WEST DIVISION
Thursday June 30
Little Falls 16, Tigerton 3
Kal Fischer, Cam Gruenwald and Nate Korb all hit home runs to lead Little Falls. Chris Dunn earned the win and Paul Sellner was hit with the loss. Little Falls outhit Tigerton 13-12. Tigerton was led by Justin Sivertson with a 3 for 3 day.
Friday July 1
Neopit 10, Leopolis 1
Don Waukechon earned the win pitching and was 2 for 3 to lead Neopit. Thomas Kazik was 2 for 4 to lead Leopolis.
Clintonville 5, Marion 1
Mitch Ebben drove in 3 runs to help lead the A’s over Marion. Hunter Vollmer earned the win. Jared Cartwright had three hits for Clintonville. Marion was held to two hits, one by Nate Reynolds and one by Troy Karpinski.
Saturday July 2
Gresham 19, Shawano 0
Paul Murphy had seven strikeouts and earned the win for the Gophers. Joe Ejnik was 3 for 3 with a double and Nate Ejnik, Tom Nietzer and Cody Reimer all had two hits. Jacob Springborn took the loss for the Lakers. Pete Bruette had a double to lead the way at the plate.
Sunday July 3
Caroline 15, Tilleda 5
Kade Rosenow earned his first BABA win for Caroline and had two hits to help his own cause. Neal Hoffman was 3 for 6 with a home run and Tyler Marquardt had 4 hits. Pressley Rosenow also had a home run in the game. Tilleda had 15 hits, four by Stephen Reinke.
SOUTH CENTRAL DIVISION
Thursday June 30
Scandinavia 7, Weymont 0
Scandinavia 5, Weymont 2- Make Up Game
In the first game Jesse Dickert had two hits and drove in 3 runs while adding a home run to hit total. Tyler Wetzel and John Mueller both had two hits for Weymont. In the second game, Gavin Erbes drove in three runs for Scandinavia to help lead the way.
