Fatal Crash In Shawano County

TOWN OF MAPLE GROVE, WI- The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one vehicle crash on eastbound Hwy 29 at St. Augustine Street in the Town of Maple Grove. Brown County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived on scene initially and provided information to other responding units and began rendering aide. The preliminary investigation indicates the vehicle was
eastbound on Hwy 29 when it entered the south ditch line, drove up the embankment and struck the St. Augustine Street overpass. The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, a Town of Angelica woman, was pronounced dead on scene. The incident is under investigation and no further information is available at this time.
