KESHENA, WI- Three missing children are believed to be endangered after going missing from the Keshena area. Menominee Tribal Police believe the children are with their parents, 30-year Tara Mahkimetas and 44-year-old John Kassube. Police say the children, who were last seen Friday in Keshena, were removed from their parents’ home by Social Services and placed in the care of relatives. Now, the children are believed to have returned to their parents.
The children are 11-year-old Sapatis Mahkimetas Pyawasay. He is described as 5-foot-4, 185 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
1-year-old Shawn Pyawasay is 2-foot-5, 30 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
10-year-old Jeffery Pyawasay is 5-foot-4, 145 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
A description of the parents has also been given.
Tara Mahkimetas is 5-foot-4, 180 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. John Kassube is 6-foot, 190 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
