KAUKAUNA, WI- Kaukauna police say a crossing guard is recovering from the injuries she suffered when they were hit by a car last Friday. The guard’s name hasn’t been released. Investigators say the driver who was involved lost control at least partially due to slippery road conditions. The guard was walking to her post at about 3:00 p-m near Park Community Charter School. It was reported that she suffered a shoulder injury. Police say the driver received several citations for the accident.
