GREEN BAY, WI- One of the men charged in a homicide on the Menominee Indian Reservation has been convicted in Federal Court this week. Emerson Reed pleaded guilty to charge of arson used in a felony on Tuesday.
Stephanie Greenspon’s body was found last August in a burned vehicle that was left abandoned on the Menominee Indian Reservation.
Three others were charged including Timothy Snider, Keith Wilber and Kayla Childs.
One of the suspects involved with setting a dead woman’s body on fire to cover up her death by drug overdose was convicted this week.
According to court records, Snider allegedly arranged for the other three to take steps to conceal Greenspon’s death which resulted from his distribution of a controlled substance.
Snider allegedly provided Greenspon with heroin about two weeks before her body was found; she overdosed and died.
According to the police report, Reed was asked to help get rid of the car and the body. He set the vehicle on fire and left.
Reed will be sentenced on April 4 and the conviction carries a sentence of 10 years to life in prison.
