ANTIGO, WI- Antigo police are searching for a 38-year-old homicide suspect. Officers say they found the victim’s body Monday morning while making a welfare check. Derek Goplin of Antigo has been identified as the person suspected of stabbing the victim to death. Goplin is being identified as a person of interest. He was last seen in the Waukesha area. The victim’s name hasn’t been released. Members of the public are being urged to call 9-1-1 if they see the suspect. He may be carrying a knife and is known to carry a gun.
