
Terrance Dale Hagen was born on April 25, 1938, in the Town of Belle Plaine, Shawano County, to Glen and Dora (Goddake) Hagen. He grew up in the Belle Plaine area and graduated from Shawano High School. Terry was united in marriage in August of 1957 to Bonnie M. Higgins in Clintonville and the couple were blessed with five children. His wife preceded him in death in 1998. Terry was married again on September 27, 1998, to Marjorie A. Grunst in Clintonville.
Terry started out as a young man working at O’Connell Garage in Embarrass. Then he worked for some years at Weishoff Gravel out of Clintonville. Terry was employed for over 48 years at FWD Corporation – Seagrave in Clintonville; delivering new fire trucks all around the country.
In his early days, he did lots of remodeling projects and liked going to All Star Wrestling matches. Terry enjoyed old tractors, listening to classic country music, and watching old westerns. He often liked to tinker out in his garage and could fix just about anything.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Marjorie; and seven children, James Hagen, Scott (special friend Kelly Melcher) Hagen, Brenda (Doug) Anderson, Mary Hagen, Brenda (Harlan) Hough, Steve McGlin, and Mike Nelson. There are six grandchildren: Christopher (Shawna) Anderson, Jacob Anderson, Andrew Hagen, Holly Sandberg, Dannie Jo (Bryan) Mauel, and Brenda Anderson. There are six great grandchildren: Glenn Haring Jr., Nick Haring, Kylee Haring, Alice Anderson, Brittlee Brown, and Albyn Brown. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Bonnie; a son Greg; one grandson Uriah; and six siblings, Lyle, Harris, Lucille, Bert, Dolly, and Ruth.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 20th at 11:00 AM at Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville. Pastor Steven Devroy will officiate and burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial to the Hagen family in Terry’s memory.
