Man Who Secretly Recorded Lawrence University Students Pleads No Contest

APPLETON, WI- A man who secretly recorded students at Lawrence University is scheduled to be sentenced in December.  Twenty-three-year-old Benjamine Wears entered a no-contest plea to 11 charges in Outagamie County Court.  As part of a plea deal, prosecutors have agreed to cap a sentence recommendation at seven years.  When he was caught Wears today authorities he did it for the excitement and said he has a problem.  All of the videos were of male victims and most were recorded in February and March of last year.
