GREEN BAY, WI – (Wisconsin Radio Network) – N-F-L team owners have agreed that every team – including the Packers – will play at least one international game over the next eight years, starting in 2022. Expanding the regular season to 17 games was approved Tuesday. The Packers are the only N-F-L team that has never played an international game. They always refused due to the disproportionate economic impact giving up a home game would have on the Green Bay area. Every game at Lambeau Field is good for an estimated 15-million dollars locally. A-F-C teams will host the 17th game in the 2021 season and the Packers extra opponent will be the Kansas City Chiefs.
