
MENOMINEE INDIAN RESERVATION, WI- Menominee Tribal Police have confirmed remains that were found on the reservation last week have been identified as those of a missing woman, Katelyn Kelley.
The investigation of the remains found on March 17, included an autopsy and a positive identification.
Kelly was last seen on June 16, 2020. She was reported missing by her mother on June 18 and the investigation has been ongoing since. Last July, a reward was offered for locating her.
Authorities say the investigation will now switch to a death investigation by the Menominee Tribal Police and the FBI and no other details are being released at this time.
