WAUPACA, WI – A Waupaca woman has pleaded not guilty to charges related to her son’s murder.
Tiffany Powell is facing a charge of being party to a first-degree intentional homicide as well as a charge of recklessly endangering safety.
Powell’s 18-year-old son, Rylee Manente-Powell was killed back in October.
William Zelenski is accused of the shooting and is facing charges. According to court records, Zelenski believed that Manente-Powell had stolen several of his exotic animals prior to the incident.
The teen’s mother is accused of pointing the weapon at her son, according to the police report. She has been bound over for trial and Zelenski will be back in court next week.
