The Annual Shawano Winter Sports Banquet was held this week. Teams and their coaches get together to celebrate the accomplishments of the season and the coaches hand out team awards and letters.
All-Conference awards were also handed out and this year, the student-athletes who achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.5 were also awarded.
36 Bay Conference Scholar-Athlete Awards were presented.
“I think it is important that we give credit to those athletes who are also excelling in the classroom,” Activities Director Joel Wondra said.
