GILLETT, WI – The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for the Oconto River near Gillett.
The flooding also affects areas in Shawano County.
The National Weather Service reported the river stage at 7.3 feet as of Thursday night and the flood stage is 7.5 feet.
No flooding is currently in the forecast, but at 7.5 feet, flooding of lowland and agricultural land occurs.
Water would likely spread into Sportsman Park in Pulcifer and would approach homes downstream southwest of Gillett.
