WAUPACA, WI – Waupaca’s City Attorney has agreed to seek help for alcohol abuse after he was cited for drunk driving earlier this year.
42-year-old Tom Hart was pulled over in the city on January 20 after he allegedly ran a red light.
The alcohol assessment was approved by the city council and Hart also agreed to seek counseling.
According to city officials, Hart will not represent the city in drug or alcohol matters until his recovery process is complete.
