TIGERTON, WI – The Village of Tigerton says a “boil/bottled water” notice is still in effect stemming from Monday’s water main break, according to the Tigerton Water Utility.
Loss of system pressure make it easier for contamination to enter the drinking water system.
Village officials say any water for consumption should be boiled for at least one minute.
While the water main break has been repaired, the village says they are still waiting for the DNR to test and approve the water before lifting the notice which they say will not happen before Friday.
