NEW LONDON, WI – The School District of New London, The New London Chamber of Commerce and the City of New London have launched the New London Connect mobile app.
The app is free to download and it’s purpose is to keep people informed and connected to the three big entities in the city.
“A fast-track approach to find information is the intent of the application,” said New London District Administrator Scott Bleck.
Downloading the app will keep people up to date with city, school and chamber news, give quick access to links and the app can be customized during the set-up process so people can pick and choose which notifications they receive.
“Individuals interested in any of the three areas can go to some one-stop shopping,” said Bleck. “Individuals in the district, chamber or city and work together to be efficient, effective and to create opportunities for success.”
From the school perspective, it will provide easy access to two common things that parents are always looking up.
“A parent guardian would be able to go to the app and click on an icon which would take them to their child’s gradebook.”
He says it is also the quickest way to get to the lunch menu as to what is going on and what is being served on a daily basis.
TO ACCESS THE APP
To download the app, users will go to their app store on their device and search for New London Connect.
Once the app is open, users will need to click “Setup Now” or “Let’s Get Started”
Once users get to the next screen, they will be able to turn on the sites that they want to see and click “Go”
