SHIOCTON, WI – The Wolf River near Shiocton is approaching Flood Stage due to open water that is flowing.
Residents say that the water is a little higher than it normally is this time of year, although flooding near Shiocton is always a yearly battle.
2019 was a wet year in Shiocton.
The water levels are putting fishing and recreation on hold.
The National Weather Service predicts that part of the Wolf River near Shiocton should crest by Sunday morning.
