GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The wettest year on record ended wet after an winter storm hit to close out 2019.
The storm left roads snow and ice covered. Areas around Green Bay, Appleton and Shawano measured about 3 inches of snow on Monday. Wausau reported 7.9 inches and 8.9 inches of snow fell in Rhinelander.
The winter advisories expired but Oconto river is flooding. City of Oconto has declared a Flood Emergency for the City. Traffic is being urged to stay off city roads until the flood waters subside.
