CLINTONVILLE, WI – Tis the season for frozen pipes in homes and businesses.
In Clintonville, residents get one freebie.
Mayor Rich Beggs says if your pipes freeze, the water utility will come out and fix it, but there is a catch.
“Our water guys will come out and do it once for free.”
He says after that service is done, everything else falls on the property owner.
“People think you can keep doing it, but you can’t. After that one time you are going to pay for it.”
He says that can be costly, so it is always best to turn you outside water off before temperatures drop each year.
