IOLA, WI – The Board of Directors for Iola Living Assistance has decided to close their Skilled Nursing Facility.
Board members say it is due to decreasing occupancy, inadequate Medicaid reimbursement rates and a shortage of workers.
The facility opened in the 1960’s.
This year, 17 skilled nursing facilities in Wisconsin have closed.
