FOND DU LAC COUNTY, WI – A 17-year-old Oneida girl is in custody after allegedly leading police on a high speed chase that stretched around 8.5 miles on Sunday morning.
The Fond Du Lac County Sheriff’s Department attempted a traffic stop at 2:45 a.m on I-41 near Town Road.
Officials say the vehicle was driving 93 in a 70 zone.
The girl failed to stop and instead allegedly reached speeds up to 128 miles per hour before a tire deflation device was deployed.
The girl was arrested for felony eluding, operating without a license, speeding, reckless driving and underage drinking.
