GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Green Bay police are investigating a dead puppy found inside a suitcase. Police say a public works employee found the suitcase in a ditch early Monday morning.
The dog is believed to be a 4-6-month-old, black and white Pit bull terrier-type breed.
The medical folks are still working to determine the exact cause of death. At this time, Green Bay police are looking for witnesses or any information regarding the puppy and the suitcase.
Meanwhile, police are urging people to surrender unwanted pets humanely by bringing them to local animal shelters or rescues instead of dumping them.
