KAUKAUNA, WI – Law Enforcement in Outagamie County is warning residents in the Kaukauna area of a coyote that has been seen in the area of Eagle Links Golf Course.
Police say people on the southeast side of Kaukauna should be on the lookout. According to police, the animal has been acting strange, as it does not appear to fear humans. They also say it looks normal.
Police are trying to check on the coyote to make sure that it is not sick and that pets and people in the area are safe.
Officers say if you see it, do not try to approach it or feed it. They are also advising people in the area to check the area before letting their pets outside.
Coyotes could be found under overhangs and behind patio furniture or be lying behind other structures.
