WAUPACA, WI – Waupaca County is about to launch their Drive Sober or get pulled over holiday campaign.
It will begin on Friday and run through New Year’s Day.
The Sheriff’s Office is joining other agencies to make people think twice before getting behind the wheel impaired.
160 alcohol related deaths were reported in Wisconsin last year.
People can help by finding a safe alternative to driving, reporting impaired drivers, take advantage of free safe ride programs that bars offer and download the Drive Sober app which can help you find a ride.
