OCONTO, WI – A Lena man has been charged for his involvement in a crash that killed an Oconto woman last month.
Second degree Reckless Homicide charges were filed against 30-year-old Travis J. Ragen.
According to the criminal complaint, back on November 15, Ragen was traveling on Highway 22 when he crossed the center line and hit a vehicle that was driven by 53-year-old Melissa Cota.
Police say both vehicles started on fire and first responders were able to rescue Ragen
It was determined that alcohol was involved in the crash.
If convicted, Ragen is facing up to 25 years in prison and up to a $100,000 dollar fine.
