APPLETON, WI – A Seymour man is facing attempted child exploitation charges after attempting to meet up with who he thought was a 15-year-old boy.
27-year-old Andy Coenen is accused of exchanging messages with a Sturgeon Bay police officer when he thought he was messaging a young boy.
Police say Coenen allegedly requested photos of the boy on multiple occasions.
Coenen is a special education teacher in the Mishicot school district and has been place on leave
