The U-S Department of Labor reports wages in Winnebago and Dane counties are growing much faster than the rest of the country. The weekly wage growth in Winnebago County topped nine percent when compared to last year – fourth-best in the country. Dane County ranked ninth with an average wage growth of six-point-three percent. The state of Wisconsin surged into a tie for seventh place nationwide and its growth of more than four percent is the best in the Midwest.
