Detour removed. Work continues under traffic.
(Krakow) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Northeast Region announces the WIS 32 bridge over the Pensaukee River in Krakow, Oconto County, will open to traffic at noon, Friday, Nov. 8. Construction crews have completed the bridge replacement portion of the $918,921 construction contract. WIS 32 at the bridge has been closed and detoured since August 19, 2019.
The project replaced the existing structure on WIS 32 with a new bridge and retaining walls. Project work also includes box culvert wing replacement and box culvert surface repair at two locations near the bridge. Culvert work will continue with shoulder closures on southbound WIS 32 just north of Gohr Road and just south of Van Dornick Road.
