In today’s economy the need is greater than ever before. Our communities have become stronger and needs have been met because of the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign.
The Salvation Army of Shawano County is in need of volunteers to ring those bells during the Red Kettle Campaign which runs November 29 through December 24, 2019. The Bell Ringers are located at Charlie’s County Market, Qualheim’s True Value and at each Wal-Mart entry. Ringing takes place on Friday and Saturday during the season. Shifts are scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays from 9am to 7pm and are scheduled in two hour increments. Wal-Mart locations are scheduled in one hour increments.
This year we have a NEW way to schedule your bell ringing shifts. You can log on to RegisterToRing.com and sign up online! Put in Shawano’s zip code, choose your date, pick the City of Shawano and choose your site location. You will receive an email confirmation of your shift.
All donations made in Shawano County stay in our community to help families in need with financial assistance such as rent, utility bills, transportation needs, medical bills, etc. Individuals meet with a representative of Salvation Army to discuss their options.
Please consider taking a shift, or scheduling your group to fill an entire day! The only way the Salvation Army will be able to help those in need is if we fill our bell ringing spots. If you are interested in ringing bells or making a donation, please call Sue Dionne at 715-853-9340.
