The Wisconsin Public Service Commission is urging people to contact their power company and establish arrangements for paying their bills – or, cover past-due bills – before the start of the winter billing moratorium. The P-S-C says customers need to get their electric bills in order right now. Wisconsin state law stops power companies from cutting off a customer’s power between November 1st and April 15th, but the commission says those customers should have their account up to date before the period begins
