Bay Conference cross country meet was held Thursday night at High Cliff Golf Course. The girls team finished in 2nd place with Odessa Arce placing 5th, Grace Beyer 6th, Claire Guenther 9th, Lydia Beyer 10th and Rachel Warax 25th. The girls finished 2nd overall in the Bay Conference. Odessa Arce and Grace Beyer received first team all Bay Conference, while Claire Guenther and Lydia Beyer were recognized for 2nd team all Bay Conference. The Boys team also finished in 2nd place and was led by the overall Bay Conference Individual Champion Demetrius Kaquatosh who finished the 3.1 mile course in 16:15. Alec White placed 5th, Zack Black 9th, Johnny Dillenburg 15th, and Ethan Chelberg finishing in 24th rounded out the scoring. Karsten Anderson, Aiden Preston and Joe Mente were also members of the team. Kaquatosh and White received recognition for first team all Bay Conference, Zack Black and Johnny Dillenberg received 2nd team all Bay Conference recognition and Ethan Chelberg received honorable mention recognition. Shawano will now participate in the Division 2 Sectional next Saturday in Tomahawk.
