The Outagamie County district attorney has determined Fox Valley Metro Police Officer Sam Pynenberg was justified in using deadly force during an incident September 3rd. No charges will be filed. Pynenberg shot Eduard Alexis Lopez-Ucles after he fled police and crashed his vehicle. He had been driving erratically after attending an event in Appleton. Lopez-Ucles was taken to a hospital, but doctors weren’t able to save him and he died of a single gunshot wound.
