A server at a restaurant in Fond du Lac says she lost her job for refusing to serve customers who were making disparaging comments about a transgender woman. Brittany Spencer says she asked her manager at Fat Joe’s Bar and Grill if someone else could serve the couple. Spencer says he felt ignoring their comments would be just as bad as saying the hateful things. When she was told to do her job or go home, she left. Spencer says she was fired after she posted the incident on Facebook.
