A northeast Wisconsin man busted with 60 pounds of methamphetamine in a Grand Chute hotel room is facing federal drug charges. The U-S Attorney’s Office says 26-year-old Derel Liebergen of Kaukana is charged with possession with intent distribute in excess of 500 grams of a meth mixture and possession of a gun in a drug trafficking crime. Police raided Liebergen’s room on September 11th and seized 60 pounds of meth and one kilogram of a heroin/fentanyl. Investigators say he admitted to traveling from Missouri to Wisconsin with meth to pay a debt to his supplier. It’s believed to be the largest-ever meth bust in the region.
