Shawano Municipal Utilities is giving children the chance to showcase their artistic ability by participating in a coloring contest to celebrate Public Power Week from October 6-12, 2019.
Children ages 4K-5th grade and live in SMU’s service area are encouraged to participate. Twelve (12) lucky students – one for each month – will have their artwork featured in the SMU 2020 full color calendar and receive $10 in Chamber Bucks. A grand prize winner will receive $25 in Chamber Bucks and have his/her name and artwork affixed to one of SMU’s bucket trucks for one year. Each child who participates will receive a movie pass to Shawano Cinema.
