A Wausau teen is pleading not guilty to first-degree reckless homicide in the shooting of a friend last summer. Eighteen-year-old David Anselmo appeared in Marathon County court Thursday where he also entered a not guilty plea to intoxicated use of a firearm. Prosecutors say Anselmo is fatally shot 19-year-old Troy Wilcox after a night of drinking in June. He told police that he accidentally pulled the trigger. Anselmo remains jailed on 100-thousand dollars cash bond. A new judge was assigned to the case at Thursday’s hearing.
