
Kenneth A. Schoenheide, age 80, of Bear Creek passed away peacefully on Friday morning, September 27, 2019 at ThedaCare Medical Center – Waupaca.
Kenneth Arlin Schoenheide was born on July 29, 1939 in the Town of Bear Creek, Waupaca County, to Arthur and Nettie (Geer) Schoenheide. He graduated from Clintonville High School in 1957. Ken entered the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at McChord AFB in Washington state from 1961 – 1965. He was united in marriage in the mid 1960’s to Jean Olson and several years later they were separated; but the couple was blessed with two sons.
Ken always loved horses and working hard on the farm. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and just plain being outdoors. Ken liked to take his horse and buggy for a ride whenever possible; whether just around his farm, to the Caroline Lions Colorama, or for parades in the Clintonville and Bear Creek area. Ken was an active member of the Clintonville Moose Lodge #1502 for many years and is a Past Governor and Jr. Past Governor for the lodge. He will be remembered most as a kind and gentle individual who always made people laugh.
Survivors include a son, Patrick (Gwen) Schoenheide of Appleton; and three grandchildren, Nichole (Jimmy) Johnson of Clintonville, Logan Schoenheide of Clintonville, and Matthew Dix of Appleton. There is one brother, Robert Schoenheide of Waupun and one sister, Donna (Jerry) Milbauer of Shawano. He is further survived by a daughter-in-law, Laurie Sterzinger of Clintonville; and many other relatives and friends. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son Kenneth Jr., a brother Gerald (Colette) Schoenheide, and a sister-in-law Donna Schoenheide.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 5th at 11:00 AM at Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville. Pastor Kelly Loken will officiate and inurnment will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville. Military Honors will be provided at the cemetery by members of the VFW Post 664, American Legion Post 63, and American Legion Auxiliary Unit 63, all of Clintonville. Visitation will be held on held on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.

We also want to thank all the doctors and nurses at ThedaCare Medical Center – Waupaca and ThedaCare at Home Hospice and for the compassionate care given to Ken.
