September Belongs To the Milwaukee Brewers
A 9-2 victory at Cincinnati Wednesday means the Milwaukee Brewers have won six games in-a-row and 17-of-19 in September. Ryan Braun’s grand slam got things started in the first inning for the Brewers who have clinched a spot in the post-season for a second straight year. They may not be done — a St. Louis loss to Arizona means Milwaukee trails the Cardinals by just a game-and-a-half with three left to play. Jordan Lyles picked up the win against the Reds and Chase Anderson starts this afternoon’s series finale as his team goes for the sweep.
