A plea hearing for the man who apparently lived in a makeshift bunker along the Ice Age Trail for three years is set for today (Friday) in Portage County. Jeremiah Button was charged with child porn possession and sexual assault of a child five years ago, but he skipped a 2016 court date and hadn’t been seen since. His trial is scheduled to start next Wednesday, but what happens at today’s (Friday’s) plea hearing could change that.
