On September 2, 2019 at approximately 3:02am the Shawano County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a one
vehicle roll over where a person was ejected on County Trunk N in the Town of Almon, Shawano County,
Wisconsin. The reporting party was on his way to work and observed headlights in the ditch. When deputies
arrived on scene they observed a male laying in the gravel about 15 feet away from the vehicle. Deputies
performed CPR until Wittenberg Ambulance arrived on scene. Ambulance crew was unable to get a pulse and
requested the Shawano County Corner be paged. Investigation of the crash showed the driver and sole occupant
entered the ditch striking a culvert surrounded by rocks which caused the vehicle to overturn ejecting the driver.
The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Wittenberg Ambulance and Bowler Fire
Department.
The driver is a 25 year old male from Bowler. His name is being withheld at this point and maybe released at a
later time.
