Chief Deputy Al Kraeger is retiring from the Waupaca county sheriffs department
In 1972, Chief Deputy Kraeger graduated from Marion High School. Chief Deputy Kraeger attended Fox Valley Technical College from 1976-1979 obtaining his Associates Degree in Applied Science in Police Science Technology.
Chief Deputy Kraeger began his law enforcement career in 1972 by joining the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office as a Reserve Deputy. In January of 1978, Chief Deputy Kraeger began employment as a Corrections Officer with the Shawano County Sheriff’s Office.
On August 1, 1978, Chief Deputy Kraeger began his full-time law enforcement career with the Waupaca County Highway Patrol.
In 1996, Chief Deputy Kraeger was promoted to his current position of Chief Deputy of the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office.
